Little Dragons

4-6 years old

This is our “Pre-K” into the regular Taekwondo program. The Little Dragon’s mission is Character Development and building a positive Teacher – Student relationship. We use the tools of kicking and punching to excite and motivate children to enjoy discipline, respect, and structure. We also introduce “achievement-based learning” by rewarding positive behavior daily.

Focus: attention span development, following directions, coordination, and self-control.

Graduating from this class indicates the child is ready to begin the journey to Black Belt!

Tae Ryong - Gigantic and Growing

7-12 years old

Along with self-defense techniques, Taekwondo students have daily training in Courtesy, Integrity, Self-control, Perseverence, and Indomitable Spirit. These tenets make up an individual with unshakeable character and confidence when confronted with adversity.

Like a “Gigantic and Constantly Growing Dragon,” every student has the opportunity for growth and that potential is infinite. All you need is to set your goal, work hard for it, and never give up along the way. Our goal is symbolized with a Black Belt.

Adult Classes

Traditional TKD

Taekwondo is characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques. In fact, World Taekwondo sparring competitions award additional points for strikes that incorporate spinning kicks, kicks to the head, or both. To facilitate fast, turning kicks, taekwondo generally adopts stances that are narrower and taller than the broader, wide stances used by martial arts such as karate. The tradeoff of decreased stability is believed to be worth the commensurate increase in agility, particularly in Kukkiwon-style taekwondo.

Adult HIIT Fit

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time. Our HIIT training incorporates TKD moves, including kicks and punches.
